NOTE: NISRA did not release a full bulletin for the week  ending 8th January as, given it was a new calendar year, more time was needed to liaise with other UK countries to decide how best to compare total deaths in 2021 with previous years. 

Correction notice: The number of excess deaths since the beginning of the pandemic quoted in figure 2 of the week 3 Bulletin published on Friday 29th January 2021 was corrected on 4^th February 2021. The previous shown total number of excess deaths was calculated from week-ending 3^rd April 2020; as the first case of Covid-19 was registered on 19^th March, this has been corrected to include all the relevant weeks changing the total from 2,281 excess deaths to 2,222. Only the bulletin for week ending 22nd January was affected by this.
