A research paper regarding online data collection in the census.

Purpose

This paper explores the feasibility, benefits, and design considerations of introducing an online response mode for the 2021 Census in Northern Ireland. It aims to stimulate discussion and guide future development of digital data collection methods.

Supporting documents

This paper was published on 27 October 2014 alongside The Future Provision of Census of Population Information for Northern Ireland. It outlines indicative proposals for the 2021 Census.
