Working and workless households in NI: July-September 2023

The Labour Force Survey (LFS) household results were released at 9.30am today.

The most common type of households in July-September 2023 were couples with children (34%) or single person households (26%).

Over half (56%) of households in Northern Ireland in July-September 2023 were work rich (all household members aged 16 or over were employed) and 17% were workless (where all household members aged 16 or over were unemployed or inactive).
