Key findings
- The total number of applicants on the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) waiting list (with no existing NIHE/housing association tenancy) at 30 June 2025 was 49,129. Of these applicants, 37,939 households were in ‘housing stress’ and 32,159 had full duty applicant status.

- In April - June 2025, the Affordable Warmth Scheme made improvements to 604 homes, while provisional spend to date for 2025-26 was just under £2.8 million.
