About the publication

This statistical factsheet, published three times a year alongside a more detailed annual bulletin, presents key information on employment vacancies notified to the Department for Communities through JobApplyNI, the Department's free vacancy management service for employers and jobseekers. The statistics reflect only those vacant positions that employers have chosen to notify to the Department, rather than the total unsatisfied demand for staff across Northern Ireland. Supplementary tables are available on the Department for Communities website.
