New official statistics published today by NISRA statisticians in the Department for Communities present a broad overview of PRONI.
The data presented covers 2023/24 and, where appropriate, other years are also included.
Key findings:
- In 2023/24, there were 7,091 linear feet of records reviewed to assess their suitability for preservation.
- There were 10,549 items published in PRONI’s electronic catalogue in 2023/24 which contains over 1.5 million item descriptions.
- In 2023/24, there were a total of 16,060 visits to PRONI. These visits included use of the search and reading rooms, group visits and attendance at organised events.
- There were 6 million page views of PRONI’s website in 2023/24.
