- In Quarter 2 2025 the total volume of construction output increased by 3.8% over the quarter, increased by 7.3% over the year and increased by 9.7% on a rolling four quarters basis.
- In the second quarter of 2025, construction output reached a 15 year high and is currently 79.7% above the series low seen in Quarter 2 2020.
- In the second quarter of 2025 construction output was 21.9% above the pre-pandemic level seen in Quarter 4 2019.
- In Quarter 2 2025, increases were seen in both New Work (6.3%) and Repair and Maintenance (2.6%).
- In Quarter 2 2025, there was a decrease in both Infrastructure (1.0%) and Other Work (0.3%) subsectors. However, the Housing subsector increased by 15.6%.
