What is commissioned output?
Commissioned outputs are custom census tables created by NISRA in response to individual requests. These tables provide detailed statistics not available in standard publications.
How to request data
If you need census data tailored to your needs, we can help.
Before submitting a request, check our 2011 Census table lookups to see if the data you need is already available.
To request a commissioned output, please email census customer services with:
- census year (for example, 2011)
- variables (for example, age, religion)
- population type (for example, usual residents, households)
- geographic level (for example, Northern Ireland, Local Government District)
- any specific breakdowns (for example, five-year age bands)
