NISRA usually publish monthly statistics on cruise ships, throughput at Northern Ireland ports and occupancy surveys to provide an early indication on how tourism is performing.
However, due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, there have been no updates on cruise ships and response rates are lower than expected in other surveys.
In the meantime, NISRA is updating the “alternative sources” document with data that is available to give the industry an indication on what may be happening in tourism.
