Life satisfaction is one of the four areas of personal wellbeing.  The question asked on the Labour Force Survey is "overall, how satisfied are you with your life nowadays?".

People are asked to respond on a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 is “not at all” and 10 is “completely”.

In 2019/20, the average life satisfaction score of people with disabilities was 6.99.  The average life satisfaction score of people with disabilities remains significantly lower than that of those without a disability (8.20).
