This report outlines the processes and procedures being implemented by NISRA for Census 2021. These measures are designed to ensure that the resulting statistics are trustworthy, high-quality, and deliver clear public value.

The report marks the first step in evaluating progress against the Code of Practice for Statistics. It will contribute to the assessment conducted by the Office for Statistics Regulation - the regulatory arm of the UK Statistics Authority - for awarding National Statistics designation to Census 2021 in Northern Ireland. A similar assessment is being carried out for Census 2021 in other parts of the UK.
