2011 Census - Outputs User Information Day

Statistics: 2011 Census background

As part of its ongoing user consultation, NISRA organised two census user information events to discuss proposals for the outputs from Census 2011.

The purpose of the event was to:

  • provide an update on the 2011 Census operation
  • capture views on the type of outputs that should be produced from the 2011 Census and the ways in which they should be disseminated
  • discuss the underlying geography that should be adopted for the outputs
  • provide update on the Statistical Disclosure Control procedures that will be deployed to protect the confidentiality of the information provided by the general public

The information days were held at the following locations:

  • Belfast 22 March 2011
  • Cookstown 23 March 2011
