Provisional quarterly births, deaths, stillbirths and marriages statistics for Northern Ireland, Quarter 1 2021.
Please note: Totals of deaths due to suicide have been revised in light of the findings of the Review of Suicide Statistics which applies to the years 2015-2020. The latest quarterly data is available in the quarter 1 2022 release onwardsand also reflected in the 2022 and 2023 Registrar General Annual Reports.
Correction Notice: Due to a system error in the data downloading process, opposite-sex civil partnerships have not been identified since Quarter 1 2020 (when legislation changed to allow opposite-sex civil partnerships).This has now been corrected and the accurate data are in table 1d, columns K to P. The total number of civil partnerships has not been impacted. NISRA Vital Statistics Unit apologises for any inconvenience this may have caused.
