Estimates of the Population Aged 85 and Over

Note that as per the mid-year estimates released in June, new format tables are available below for this release. They have been designed to be more user friendly by providing all of the information in one place and the data in both flat file format and tabular format.

These statistics provide a further age breakdown of the mid-2017 population estimates of those aged 90 and over, by single year of age up to 104 years, and for those aged 105 and over.

Statistics are available as follows:

Northern Ireland - population aged 85 and over (2017)

  • Population by single year of age and gender (85 and over)
  • Population by single year of age and gender (all ages)
