Seasonally adjusted estimates for the period February - April 2016 showed that there were 841,000 people in employment in Northern Ireland.
It is also estimated that at February - April 2016 the unemployment rate was 5.8%. The seasonally adjusted number of people claiming unemployment benefits stood at 37,200 in May 2016.
In April 2015 the median gross weekly earnings for all employees was £383.
