Westminster Parliamentary Constituencies and Assembly Areas

The most recently published population estimates for Westminster Parliamentary Constituencies/Assembly Areas relate to mid-2010.

The mid-2001 to mid-2011 population estimates at the Northern Ireland level have now been revised to take into account the 2011 Census results. Revised mid-2001 to mid-2011 population estimates at sub-national level (Local Government District (LGD), NUTSIII areas, Health Trusts (HSCT), Health Boards (HSSB) and Education Library Boards (ELB)) are planned for June/July 2013 (more information is available here).
Rebased Small Area Population Estimates for the period 2001-2010, as well as new estimates for both mid-2011 and mid-2012, are planned for Winter 2013/14. Work on Westminster Parliamentary Constituencies/Assembly Areas is also planned for Winter 2013/14.

The 2008 Westminster Parliamentary Constituencies and 2011 Assembly Areas replaced the 1998 Assembly Areas geography. For more details on the impact of the boundary changes, click here
