Alcohol and Drug Deaths
In 2010, NISRA published a combined report for alcohol and drug deaths; prior to this two seperate reports were produced. In more recent years updated data tables have been published.
Alcohol deaths are defined as deaths which are directly related to alcohol. Drug deaths are split into drug related deaths and deaths due to drug misuse.
The reports include data on cause of death, gender, age group, geographical area and deprivation quintile.
