Births and Deaths Reports

Since 2001 NISRA have published detailed provisional birth and death statistics on an annual basis. The most recent releases are based on 2011 data for deaths and 2012 data for births.
The Deaths Statistical Bulletin includes trends in the overall number of registrations as well as information relating to gender, age, cause of death, place of death and geographical area. Stillbirth and infant death statistics are also included.
The Births Statistical Bulletin includes trends in the overall number of registrations as well as information relating to gender and place of birth, parents details including marital status and geographical area.
