Registrar General Annual ReportsPublished on 29th November 2012, the 2011 Annual Report, which is the 90th report of the Registrar General for Northern Ireland is the most recent report available. This report follows the new revised format introduced in 2004, which comprises of two main chapters. The first chapter provides detailed demographic statistics for Northern Ireland and highlights recent trends in births, stillbirths, deaths, infant deaths, marriages, civil partnerships, divorces and civil partnership dissolutions. This year the second chapter looks at the History of the Census in Ireland/Northern Ireland and has been written by Ian White, who has worked for the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and its predecessors since 1970.
