Published on 6th December 2007, the 2006 Annual Report, which is the 85th report of the Registrar General for Northern Ireland, is the most recent report available.

This report follows the new revised format introduced in 2004, which comprises of two main chapters.  The first chapter provides detailed demographic statistics for Northern Ireland and highlights recent trends in births, stillbirths, deaths, infant deaths, marriages and divorces.  This year the second chapter gives an insight into the Northern Ireland Longitudinal Study (NILS) and gives examples of how the study can be used to for research purposes.  The data tables, which were formerly printed, can now be accessed from the CD enclosed with the report.
