Published on 30th November 2009, the 2008 Annual Report, which is the 87th report of the Registrar General for Northern Ireland is the most recent report available.

This report follows the new revised format introduced in 2004, which comprises of two main chapters. The first chapter provides detailed demographic statistics for Northern Ireland and highlights recent trends in births, stillbirths, deaths, infant deaths, marriages and divorces. This year the second chapter is a Review of Cancer Mortality in Northern Ireland by Dr David Donnelly and Dr Anna Gavin from the Northern Ireland Cancer Registry. The data tables, which were formerly printed, can now be accessed from the CD enclosed with the report.
