Published on 29th November 2011, the 2010 Annual Report, which is the 89th report of the Registrar General for Northern Ireland is the most recent report available.

This report follows the new revised format introduced in 2004, which comprises of two main chapters. The first chapter provides detailed demographic statistics for Northern Ireland and highlights recent trends in births, stillbirths, deaths, infant deaths, marriages, civil partnerships, divorces and civil partnership dissolutions. This year the second chapter looks at the Seasonality of Mortality in Northern Ireland and has been written by Dr Chris Morris, an independent social researcher and Christine Liddell, Professor of Psychology, University of Ulster. The data tables, which were formerly printed, can now be accessed from the CD enclosed with the report.
