Northern Ireland Level Projections

The most recent population projections are based on the 2010 population and provide projected population totals for Northern Ireland from 2010-2060, using assumptions about future fertility, mortality and migration.

A revision of the 2001-2011 mid-year population estimates, taking into account the 2011 Census, is planned for Spring 2013. Following this, 2012 based population projections are planned for Autumn 2013.
