NUTS III
The most recently published population estimates relate to mid-2011 and are available for the five NUTS III areas in Northern Ireland: Belfast; Outer Belfast; East of Northern Ireland; North of Northern Ireland and West & South of Northern Ireland.
As of 30th April 2013: The mid-2001 to mid-2011 population estimates at the Northern Ireland level have now been revised to take into account the 2011 Census results. These Northern Ireland level estimates are available here.
Sub-national population estimates are currently still based on the 2001 Census. Revised mid-2001 to mid-2011 population estimates at sub-national level (Local Government District (LGD), NUTSIII areas, Health Trusts (HSCT), Health Boards (HSSB) and Education & Library Boards (ELB)) are planned for June/July 2013.
